Girls Night Out...

With the need to blow off steam, the girls and I (Brooke, Jessica, Moni) found ourselves at the Yucatan Bar and Grill. We happened upon Hillbilly Night with people in overalls, dancing on tables... perfect. And yes, I made a new friend. Let's just call Vincent phase one in washing Mar out of my hair.

Hello Engelburg...

Welcome to Engelburg, Switzerland. It's a small ski village with mountains on every side. Here are some pictures taken on a walking trip of the town which only took a hour. It is so small the only public transportation is out of the town, not around it. My biggest challenge has been the lack of a coffee shop... no one has died yet. If you are wanting anything big or a Starbucks, you head to Luzern.

I haven't died...

Sorry this post is so long in coming. I'm embarassed to say I've been having a hard time. It is an adjustment. German is hard to understand and I've let my personal life effect me. I am much better now and ready to get you all up to speed.

This is my hotel when we arrived. Look at all the snow!!

In the beginning...

Finally a moment to sit and create this blog. I love how high-tech we've become. Last time I went to Europe a pen and grape scented paper was all a 14 year old need. Today I am hoping to share my experiences with my friends and family as soon as they happen. Unfortunately I have one draw back... my camera. I was so good and wanted to make sure that battery was fully charged. Of course, the camera is with me and that battery is still charging. In three months, when I get home, that battery is going to rock. I am going to attempt again for a replacement or have it sent to me. In the mean time I am relying on the kindness of strangers for their pictures. So please check for updates as they might not be in the best order at first. Welcome to my page, I'm so excited you stopped by.
